What is MIDI panic?
Despite its somewhat ominous name,
Panic
is an extremely useful function that immediately silences all notes, including any hanging MIDI notes (notes that don’t stop playing even after you’ve released the key). There are several ways to Panic:
Press
Control-P
Double-click the MIDI Monitor in the toolbar.
By default, we also
assigned the Panic screen control
to the top key on your keyboard.
