If your production needs to omit music, such as for a scene change, you may have keyboard patches you don’t need.

We recommend that you skip patches and sets rather than deleting them. When you skip a patch or set, it’s removed from the performance patch list but remains in the concert file. That way, it’s easy to restore if you ever need it in the future.

To skip and unskip

Navigate to the patch or set you want to skip and make sure it’s highlighted.

Right-click on the item or use the Patch List Action pop-up menu and choose Skip or Don’t Skip. You can also use the keyboard shortcut Control-S or Control-D, respectively.

To delete

Navigate to the patch or set you want to delete and make sure it’s highlighted. Press the Delete key on your computer keyboard or choose Edit > Delete.
